Goldenberry Juice from Terrafertil is a new superfruit drink launching this summer.
Hailing from the Andean foothills, the Goldenberry juice, made from Goldenberries, also known as Physalis fruit, is packed with nutrients.
Especially high in antioxidants and Vitamin A, which helps keeps skin healthy and supple, this new juice hopes to appeal for its taste and health credentials.
Lucy Tichivangana of Holland & Barrett said:
“Dried Goldenberries have been flying off our shelves since the start of the year and we’re already anticipating the success of Goldenberry Juice.
“We expect it will be the must-buy great summer and spring drink – refreshingly sweet and good for you too.”
Goldenberry Juice is a new superfruit drink
Goldenberries are reputed to be the nation’s favourite superfruit of 2013.
Boasting more fibre than prunes, more potassium than banana and with no added sugar, they are high in Bioflavonoids which protect the immune system, phosphorus which helps the body digest nutrients quicker, and Vitamin B which can help promote weight loss and keep skin supple.
Dr Mehmet Oz, Professor of Surgery at Colombia University, author and American TV personality said:
“Goldenberries are my number one recommendation for those looking to lose weight and stay healthy.
“The Goldenberry is loaded with B vitamins that are essential for maintaining a healthy metabolism.
“This super berry will be sure to help you whittle away any unwanted fat.”
Harvested high up in the Andean mountains, the Goldenberry has been used as a miracle fruit in South America for generations and now it comes to the UK as an easy-to-consume superjuice.
Available from Holland & Barrett and Whole Foods from August, 1 litre Terrafertil Goldenberry Juice is priced at RRP £3.99.
