Knorr has launched a new gravy innovation – a professional gravy paste that is designed to give extra depth of flavour in an easy and familiar format.
Available in two varieties – beef made with real meat juices and chicken containing real meat – the new professional pastes deliver a gravy with a glossy sheen and is visually closer to scratch-made recipes.
The new gravy pastes can be used on their own, or to complement and extend chefs’ own scratch bases helping to thicken and boost the flavour of roasting pan juices.

They are gluten free, contain no added MSG and meet the 2012 salt targets.
In trials chefs said that the Knorr Gravy Pastes had better overall taste, aroma and appearance than their current gravy and that their flavour was closer to scratch-made.
Chefs liked it twice as much as their current gravy, and over three quarters said they would be likely to buy it again.

Chefs and caterers can buy new Knorr Gravy Pastes in reusable tubs and each tub yields 25 litres of gravy.
